| GATE 2026 Eligibility Criteria:Educational Qualification | |
| • Passed/ Appearing BE/ B.Tech/ B.Pharma/ B.Arch/ B.Sc. Research/ M.Sc./MA/MCA/ME/ M.Tech/ Dual Degree/ Integrated Course. ⚫ Candidates must be in their 3rd year or higher of an undergraduate degree or have completed a recognized undergraduate program. • Qualifying degrees include Bachelor’s degrees in Engineering, Technology, Architecture, Science, as well as Master’s degrees in Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Computer Applications. Five-year integrated Master’s or dual degrees in Engineering/Technology and certain professional society examinations are also accepted.
Other key requirements • Both Indian citizens and eligible international candidates can apply. ⚫ There is no age limit or restriction on the number of attempts for the GATE exam. Eligibility for international students • Students from countries other than India who are pursuing or have completed a qualifying undergraduate degree of at least three years are eligible to apply. This includes candidates from countries like Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Singapore, and the UAE |
